Shawn Williams guest speaker – Library Iola, WI – Five Pounds & Screaming

I appreciate the opportunity to be guest speaking July 31, 2012, a Tuesday at 6:30pm! This will be at the Iola, WI library’s DREAM BIG READ! summer reading campaign, the library asked me to come in and talk about creating my graphic novel Five Pounds & Screaming. (The Iola library proudly shelves a copy!) Come out and learn more about comic books, self publishing, and probably a little about me. And make your own comic strip and see me do some sketches as well! And I’m working on having some free comic books to take home too.

Shawn Williams will talk about writing and illustrating his graphic novel FIVE POUNDS & SCREAMING, the process of getting published, and help everyone create a simple comic strip. His book documents the everyday (but also magical) time between after the honeymoon and into the delivery room.
